How to get to #nzbisexual

For other operating systems, there is ircle for the Macintosh, ircII for unix/linux without X-windows, and bitchX for

X-windows.

After installing mirc, the first time you run it you will need to supply some information. Note that email addresses and your full

name will be visible to others if they perform a /whois command, so don't fill these in if you are worried about security. You will

need to choose a nick, which is the nickname used on irc, use something unusual, Tom or Susan will most likely be used, but

some names can be used with a symbols such as ^ ' - added to the beginning or end of the nick to make it unique.

To connect, click on File and options, and select the server drop-down menu. Select any of the Undernet servers, Auckland is

a good choice. Then click "Connect to irc server". After a connection is established, a menu will most likely pop up with a

default list of channels to join. It is probably easiest to close this menu at the moment, and then type

/join #nzbisexual

at the command line. This will connect you to the channel, on the right there is a box which will display the nicks of all those in

the room, and down the bottom is a command line where you can type what you want to say.
